Apple made it obvious that their watch is going to be a device for the fashion industry as well as for the nerds. The Apple Watch is going to need a new category of employees for the tech giant, the kind that knows how to address to the fashion media and the people in the industry.

Apple started that as early as summer of 2013, and the first one on the list was Paul Deneve, the former CEO of Yves Saint Laurent. He's now taken a position of vice president on special projects. Other big names coming from Levi, Nike, and Burberry have joined Apple last year.

In 2014, the hiring spree continued with marketing gurus like Bob Kupbens from Delta Air Lines and Tommy Elliot from Visa. The big acquisition came in March of 2014 when Apple snatched Beats Audio for 3 billion dollars. Jimmy Iovine and Dr. Dre, Omar Johnson and Bozoma Saint John are now Apple employees.

But the Cupertino, California-based tech giant didn't stop there. Musa Tariq of Nike and designer Marc Newson have joined the company in the past month. Their latest hire comes from the fashion industry as well and her name is Marcela Aguilar.

She comes from a job as a senior global director-marketing communications at Gap and she will be the new director for global marketing communications.
