I guess you can start the countdown to the moment when Santa Claus comes to town, and if you're still at work and
didn't have the time to buy presents yet, you can try some online shops, and hopefully you'll find one to help you get what you're looking for. No matter how lucky you'll be in finding what you wish to buy, the best details and feedback about most products can be found on the producers' official sites, and if you're looking for Apple gifts, you know what to do...
...open your browser, type in "www.apple.com", and press the "Go" button, that's all, but did you ever wonder how many people are doing this at the same time with you? According to Prince McLean from AppleInsider, Apple.com was last month's most visited website of a PC manufacturer or computer electronics company, ranking on the 13th position on a list of the Web's top 50 properties, with almost 34 million surfers during a one month period. This data is not just thrown out as a result of a Vodoo ceremony, but was released by comScore Media Metrix this week after a serious study.
Considering the current web traffic data we're talking about, a brief look back to December 2005 gives a really interesting result - in a year, Apple's web reach increased by 21 percent, and climbed 4 places on the Web properties list, from the 17th position it had at that time.
Last month's top websites were Yahoo, TimeWarner, Microsoft, Google and eBay, followed by sites owned by Fox Interactive Media, Ask, Amazon, Wal-Mart and the New York Times, and Apple's site came right after Viacom Digital and Wikipedia; but the greatest surprise of the top is that YouTube, the notorious video sharing site, ranked some places behind, with only 25.5million visitors last month!
