Apple and T-Mobile have announced the service plans for the iPhone in Germany. Three options are given and, like with all iPhone service plans, they all include unlimited data transfer.

The three "iPhone
Complete" plans announced by Apple and T-Mobile include unlimited data, Visual Voicemail and access to T-Mobile's more than 8,000 Wi-Fi HotSpots in Germany. People who buy an iPhone can choose any of the tree plans depending on the amount of voice minutes and text messages they intend to use. The €49 "Complete M" plan will include 100 minutes and 40 SMS messages, the €69 "Complete L" option will offer 200 minutes and 150 SMS messages and the "Complete XL" plan for €89 includes 1000 minutes and 300 text messages. The cost of additional minutes varies depending on the plan, with €0.39/minute in the Complete L and M plans and €0.29/minute in the XL plan. All additional text messages will cost €0.29 regardless of what plan the user has.

"We're thrilled to be partnering with T-Mobile and can't wait to start selling the iPhone in Germany in just a few short weeks," said Philip Schiller, Apple's senior vice president of Worldwide Product Marketing. "Starting at just €49 per month, we think these three rate plans give customers the flexibility to experience all of iPhone's revolutionary features at affordable and competitive prices."

The T-Mobile service plans are especially good considering that the company has over 8,000 WiFi HotSpots in Germany, where HotSpot users can achieve download speeds of up to 11 megabits per second. Between the unlimited EDGE data transfer and HotSpot access, iPhone users will be able to make use of the device's Internet capabilities no matter where they are.

The device is scheduled to go on sale on November 9 in the Telekom Shops of Deutsche Telekom and the T-Mobile web shop. Like with all previous iPhone launches, the device will require a new 2-year T-Mobile rate plan.
