The news comes after Tim Cook’s recent visit to Germany

According to the iGen.fr website, it might be possible for the forthcoming Apple Watch device to be water resistant, as Tim Cook might have said to the employees of an Apple Store in Berlin, Germany, earlier today, February 25.

While this piece of news has not yet been confirmed by Apple, nor by Tim Cook himself, it might be nothing but a rumor, especially since earlier reports confirmed that the Apple Watch wouldn’t be suited for use when swimming or in the shower.

Apple Watch was unveiled last year during an event where Apple representatives told tech journalist David Pogue that the device would be suited for all types of workouts, as well as for wearing when it rains and when you wash your hands.

Nothing was mentioned about wearing the smartwatch during showers or when swimming, though we have to admit, it will be a pretty cool feature of the Apple Watch when it is made available for purchase this spring, sometime in April.

While the price of the device has remained unknown to this day, it appears that Tim Cook said that he charges his Apple Watch nightly, confirming what Apple said when the smartwatch was unveiled in 2014.

Will keep you informed on this space if the waterproof feature of the Apple Watch gets confirmed by Apple or not. Until then, please enjoy a selfie of Tim Cook and some employees of an Apple Store from Berlin.
