Looks like Apple can't get enough of fresh, brilliant minds. Game developers are being recruited from College, says TechZo. Students at Savannah College of Art and Design said they received a recruitment email saying Apple is looking for skillful game developers. Their task will be to create "high quality 3D and 2D art for games", the message said.

The email contained no details about the platform for which these games would be developed. They could be meant for the new iPhone, but also for iPods, and even Apple TV.

News last week talked about Apple's intentions towards gaming. The company already has a team of programmers developing games for the iPod. It has also been said Apple is approaching casual games, suitable for its portable devices, the iPod and the iPhone.

In a recent interview, Greg Canessa mentioned the iPod and the Apple TV as new platforms for which PopCap will adapt its games. Mitch Lasky at Electronic Arts Mobile also said they have been talking to Apple about iPhone games. "We see a lot of the technology that we've utilized on the iPod side being incorporated into the iPhone", said Lasky.

In spite of all these reports, Apple has not yet confirmed the development of games for either the iPhone or the Apple TV. What they did say was that the games developed for iPods will definitely not work on Apple TV.

If TechZo was well informed and Apple is really hiring art students to design 2D and 3D games for their devices, they will surely look good. After all, when did Apple make something that didn't at least look good?
