The iPhone and iPad version of Apple’s iPhoto application has received a minor update that might come in handy for people swapping journal URLs on a regular basis. iPhoto 1.0.1 also fixes some bugs and includes stability improvements.

Apple has decided to make a tweak to the iOS version of its iPhoto app allowing customers to copy the URL of the journal via a handy “Copy Link” button, when publishing a journal to iCloud.

The second order of business for this update was to address an issue that could cause duplicate photos to appear in Photos view. Last, but not least, iPhoto 1.0.1 includes stability improvements, according to the change log.

iPhoto iOS is compatible with iPhone 4, iPhone 4S, iPad 2 Wi-Fi, iPad 2 Wi-Fi + 3G, iPad (3rd generation) and iPad Wi-Fi + 4G and requires iOS 5.1 or later. The app costs five bucks in the US (4 EUR in European territories).
