Apple has updated its web site with a continuously-refreshing page containing the farewell messages of over one million Steve Jobs fans.

According to the Cupertino company, over a million people have shared their memories, thoughts, and feelings about the late Apple co-founder and CEO.

“One thing they all have in common — from personal friends to colleagues to owners of Apple products — is how they’ve been touched by his passion and creativity,” Apple says.

Ron from California, for example, wrote: “Very sorry to hear of Steve's passing. As a teacher, I used Macs every day, and I held up Steve as an example for my inner-city kids to aspire to. Steve democratized computing. He was the modern equivalent of Gutenberg, with the same kind of revolutionary results. I am deeply saddened. My heart goes out to his family.”

A person identified as Serdar said, “Today we lost someone who really changed the world for many. I want to thank you for making my life easier and more fun with your inventions. I hope you rest in peace, wherever you are! You will be remembered forever!”

Justin was sad to have never met Steve in person, “but today I almost feel like I've lost a friend,” he wrote on the day Apple’s visionary passed away.

“Nobody I know can deny the impact Steve Jobs has made in his short time on Earth … I admire Steve not only because he created countless inspirational, revolutionary, and paradigm-shifting products, but because he had the courage to follow his dreams and create multiple companies that have changed the way we all look at the world,” Justin added.

His writeup includes the famous quote from Apple’s Think Different campaign - “Here’s to the crazy ones”.

He ends his message with the following line: “Rest in peace, Steve. I hope you know what an amazing and inspirational legacy you have left behind.”
