Apple has released updated literature for customers interested in employing the iOS Remote application for use with Apple TV and Mac OS X.

Apple diligently explains that Remote is “a software application for iPhone, iPad and iPod touch that allows you to control audio and video playback of iTunes and Apple TV.”

The document shows customers “how to set up Remote app, and how to troubleshoot issues that may arise.”

The “affected products” listed in the documentation include Apple TV (1st generation), Apple TV (2nd generation), Apple TV (3rd generation), iPad, iPhone, iPod touch, iPod touch, and iTunes.

Customers can get useful information on a wide range of topics, such as the system requirements, setting up the software, using Home Sharing, using different versions of iTunes, how to use with different versions of Apple TV, particularities based on regions (China, being a good example), and tons more info. Check it out!
