Apple Unveils Quick Time 7.02

Although it was a busy day for Apple, the company has find the time to release an important update to its multimedia software, QuickTime 7.02.

According to Apple, "QuickTime 7.0.2 delivers numerous important bug fixes and compatibility enhancements. This update is highly recommended for all QuickTime 7 users."

System requirements for the new Quick Time are a G3/400MHz or later, 128MB RAM and Mac OS X v10.3.9 or later.
The installation of QuickTime 7 will disable the QuickTime Pro functionality in prior versions of QuickTime, including QT Pro versions 5 and 6.


Apple has also released QuickTime 7 for Windows, which have been previously only as a preview. The new software includes iTunes 5 for Windows.

Quick Time 7.02 is available trough the Software Update system preference pane and Apple downloads.
