Apple has tweeted an invitation to users of an iOS device, encouraging them to download the official Super Bowl XLV app to navigate the stadium, find friends and places to grab a bite.

Last week Apple confirmed the availability of the App Store Twitter account, where fans can follow the updates to discover new apps, and learn of new offers.

Appropriately named @AppStore, the service promises "official App Store tweets including our featured apps, exclusive offers, and more."

With the world’s greatest sporting event scheduled to go live on February 6th, Apple is giving fans the heads up via Twitter, saying “Download the official Super Bowl XLV app to navigate the stadium, find friends and places to eat.”

The app’s official iTunes App Store description is available below.
