There’s a new iPhone model available on shelves, complemented by a new iOS release, and a wide range of applications to choose from, that’s for sure.

Of them all, Microsoft is recommending the use of its Bing App for iPhone when it comes to performing searches or finding directions on a mobile device.

Apparently, Apple agrees. Tim Cook, the company’s CEO, also recommends the use of Bing Maps to all those who have a new iPhone, as well as to all others looking for a navigation solution.

The reason for that is a simple one: Apple’s Maps are not performing well, and people need an alternative.

With Bing, navigation is only one of the great features that users can take advantage of, just as Microsoft explained recently. Social connectivity is also available, along with image search with infinite scrolling, and voice search on top of it.
