AppleTV was one of the most awaited Apple products because it was first announced in January 2007 and captured the audience's attention with its exciting features. AppleTV is a revolutionary device able to stream digital content provided by a Mac OSX or a Windows computer with Apple's iTunes straight on a high-definition TV. As you surely know if you're an Apple fan, the product was finally released on Tuesday and was available for shipping directly from the company's webpage.

I guess all the upcoming AppleTV owners know how the device looks like but TechRestore presented some interesting photographs with the internal components of the product. TechRestore dissected AppleTV and published the photos to present all the components as well as hidden elements that were not presented by the company.

As far I can see, AppleTV has an Intel CPU model number 7645A966 0159 and an NVIDIA chip model that was already confirmed by Apple. "From their photos, both the 1.0GHz Intel Pentium M-based "Crofton" central processing unit and NVIDIA G72M graphics chip are visible. Also visible from the photos is a Silicon Image IC and Broadcom chip affixed to Apple TV's 802.11n-enabled wireless card," AppleInsider sustained in an article posted today.

Apple announced the specification of the product at the 2007 Macworld Expo in San Francisco on January 9, 2007, attracting an important number of visitors. As the company sustained, AppleTV has an USB 2.0 connectivity interface, 40 GB internal hard disk (also visible in the photos), Apple Remote, 1 GHz Intel CPU and 256 MB MHz DDR2 Ram. The dimensions of the device are 7.7x7.7x1.1 inches so it is quite easy to install and use the Apple product.
