Apple TV 3rd-Generation Support Materials Released Online

Apple has posted a slew of support materials online dedicated to the new, third-generation Apple TV. Customer are offered these knowledge base articles to learn how to make the best use of their new black box.

Two documents in particular focus on purchasing and viewing movies and TV shows. Customers are provided a set of instructions for movies and a separate set of instructions for TV shows.

One tech-note details the proper steps to restart your Apple TV in certain circumstances, such as when you experience a black screen.

Another document shows how to use AirPlay Mirroring – a key feature in iOS 5, and a new addition in OS X Mountain Lion. Finally, “Troubleshooting AirPlay and AirPlay Mirroring” speaks for itself.
