Apple fans and users of the company's products will probably get very little sleep tonight with all these impressive updates floating around, including the iPhone software 2.0, the App Store, MobileMe and more. Most recently, Apple issued a certain iPhone Configuration Utility, as well as version 2.1 of the Apple TV software.

iPhone Configuration Web Utility 1.0

The utility basically lets iPhone users set up configuration profiles and install provisioning profiles and applications, allowing them to get information about iPhones. According to 9to5mac, this includes their console logs.

From Apple's Support page:

About iPhone Configuration Web Utility 1.0 for Mac

iPhone Configuration Web Utility lets you easily create, sign and distribute configuration profiles using a web browser.

Configuration profiles are XML files that contain device security policies, VPN configuration information, Wi-Fi settings, APN settings, Exchange account settings, mail settings, and certificates that permit iPhone and iPod touch to work with your enterprise systems.

Apple also provides instructions on how to use iPhone Configuration Web Utility via this iPhone and iPod touch Enterprise Deployment Guide. The iPhone Configuration Web Utility 1.0 for Mac is available for free download HERE.

Apple TV 2.1

According to sources on the web, the latest version of the Apple TV software adds support for Apple's newly introduced MobileMe service, which replaces the old .Mac, but also includes the ability to make use of Apple's new Remote application for the iPhone and iPod touch, currently available for free download through the App Store. It's out, you know... The software update is available via the Apple TV update menu.

The Photo section of MobileMe reveals there is a way to connect with the new Remote application under the Settings -> General -> Remotes section. iTunes 7.7 includes the app's functionality as a feature, which means you need to upgrade in order to use it with iTunes.
