Few chances for Apple to introduce any new products with WWDC just days away

Apple has taken down its online store for maintenance, hours after Walt Mossberg and Kara Swisher interviewed the company’s CEO on stage at D10, hosted by All Things D (WSJ).

With less than two weeks to go until Apple kicks off its Worldwide Developers Conference this year, we shouldn’t expect any new products or product updates. Plus, the rate at which downtimes have ended with updates this year has been considerably lower.

Apple is no longer taking its store down as a sign that new products are coming, but rather to carry out maintenance, such as to include new web tools for selecting and purchasing custom iPhone configurations.

We’ll be back too, whenever Apple’s store goes online. If you spot any changes before we do, be a sport and write them in the comments.

Update: Apple has taken its store back online. The company is now selling Tony Fadell's Nest Learning Thermostat.
