The next-generation iPhone is rumored to come out on September 25. A Reuters report talks about how Apple actually entered mass production with the much-anticipated iOS Device.

According to Reuters, the Hon Hai Precision Industry Co Ltd in Taiwan is the company in charge of building the next iPhone. They will begin mass production this month.

It appears that the first device to enter production will be the 4.7-inch diagonal display iPhone that is set to replace the current 4-inch iPhone 5s. The production for a second model – a 5.5 inch display iPhone – will begin during the second week of August, says Taiwan's Economic Daily News.

On the other hand, the official state-run news service from China reported on Hon Hai planning to hire 100,000 workers at its mainland plants in order to meet the demand for the work load expected for the iPhone. The information was given by the chief of the Henan Provincial Commerce Department.

Another big Apple partner in China, Pegatron Corp. has started recruiting over 10,000 workers for their plants. Both manufacturers' representatives declined to comment.

Another source says that Foxconn, Apple's biggest partner in China is readying 100,000 jobs for the iPhone production lines. The company is looking for locals that are 23 to 40 years old and want to get a job in Zhengzhou City of Henan Province, northern China.

Foxconn was the company that was getting ready to buy 10,000 robots to assist the workers in their daily tasks. The same company produced 42.9 million handsets in the first half of 2014. The local Government has high hopes about the new iPhone. They say that the expected output is about 120 million iPhones in 2014.

According to Patently Apple, the total number of iPhone 6 models should be around 77 million devices for the second half of 2014 alone. That number is similar to the supply chain companies that estimated a total of 70 million new iPhones being manufactured by the end of 2014.

Apple is expected to announce the iPhone 6 on September 19 and release it a week later, on September 25. The new device will reportedly come out in two different screen sizes and will sport a virtually indestructible sapphire display, higher capacity battery and a bigger camera sensor. So far, we have seen numerous parts that came out of the test production lines in China and from the supply chain factories.
