In a new report by Bloomberg, the next-generation full-sized iPad is said to be entering production. The unconfirmed rumor comes from Apple's suppliers in China. Considering that Apple may have just a little bit over a month to release the next iPad Air 2, this information does not seem that far-fetched.

The cited source believes the Cupertino Tech Giant has already started mass production for a full-sized iPad featuring a 9.7-inch diagonal display. The device will be unveiled, most probably, as early as September or at the end of this financial quarter, before November of 2014.

Bloomberg cites two people familiar with Apple's plans that have asked to remain anonymous. Apple is also readying a new version of iPad mini. The production for this device is scheduled to start at the end of the year.

Apple usually ramps up production of larger iOS device before Christmas so their sales will grow considerably. The tech giant is also expected to release a larger screen iPhone in about a month from now.

The iPad business did not work so well in Apple's financial third quarter. iPad sales dropped to 13.3 million units in the past 3 months. The cited sources mentions the recent partnership agreement Apple signed with IBM. A month ago, Apple's CEO, Tim Cook explained how their pact to sell to corporations is a great way to turn the iPad into a catalyst for the future iPad.

The new iPad is expected to have a faster, stronger chip and a 64-bit iOS. It will also sport a Touch ID finger print reader, home button and will probably borrow the M7 or M8 motion chip from the iPhone 5s.

According to the same report, Apple is planning to step up their screen game with the next-generation iPad. The screen of the second-generation iPad Air will get a new anti-reflection coating. This will help the iPad be more readable in direct sunlight.

Apple will also release iOS 8 in the next month, and this will help the iPad too because the tablet will work with the iPhone and Mac in the future Handoff feature. Therefore, you will be able to see text messages (not only iMessage messages) and missed phone calls from your iPhone. The iPad will also be able to work with apps opened on other device, so you can just start where you left of. iOS 8 will be a free upgrade for existing iPhone and iPad users.
