20-year old Kristin Green, who was recently hired at the Walt Whitman Apple store in Huntington Station (NY), died in a car crash on Tuesday afternoon when traveling along a Pennsylvania turnpike, sources report.

The Apple Store, Walt Whitman is located about a 1/2 mile south of the intersection of Jericho Turnpike and Route 110 (Walt Whitman Road) in Huntington Station, NY.

Particularly, the store is located between Bloomingdales and Saks Fifth Avenue in the main corridor of the Mall.

Four Apple store employees were traveling along a Pennsylvania turnpike on Tuesday afternoon when the driver of the vehicle, Robert Felberbaum, fell asleep.

“Pennsylvania State Police say Robert Felberbaum, 20, fell asleep as his VW rounded a curve on I-76 south of Reading about 4 p.m,” reports ifoAppleStore, an exclusive source of news specifically focused on Apple’s retail establishments.

In the crash, all four passengers were injured. These included Tracey Cowit, Richard DiLorenzo, and Kristin Green.

Helicopters landed to airlift the injured Apple employees to a Reading hospital about 15 miles from the accident, ifo reports.

“Troopers say all four occupants were wearing seatbelts, but that Kristin Green, 20, was seriously injured sitting in the front passenger seat,” the source notes.

Upon her arrival to Reading Hospital, Kristin passed away.

“Green’s family says Kristin had dropped out of New York University last year after two years of study, and was recently hired at the Walt Whitman Apple store in Huntington Station (NY),” the report informs.

According to ifo, interstate 76 was closed for 90 minutes as firefighters struggled to extract the victims from the car.

The report fails to mention what positions the four occupied with Apple, or at least that of Kristin Green.

for starters I know one of the passengers and the individual who wrote this article should lose his job. Why is it important that they are apple employees that was mentioned at least 5 times but that the girl died was mentioned 2? Are you kidding me and he didn't fall asleep at the wheel he had a seizure, get your story straight or dont write an article.
