Apple is now featuring a new iPhone advertisement on its website. The ad, simply dubbed Dilemmas, emphasizes the iPhone's capabilities to run useful and fun-to-use apps. The commercial reveals Apple’s constant tendency of highlighting only one app at a time to show the iPhone's potential.

The latest iPhone ad features Urbanspoon, a simple iPhone app that has users shaking the device to get recommendations on local restaurants. According to the makers of the app, “Urbanspoon on the iPhone is part Magic 8 Ball, part slot machine.” But, as you shake your phone to finds a good restaurant near you, the results might not always appeal to you at that particular moment. Say you don't want Mexican today, but you don't really know what you want exactly either. Well, Urbanspoon lets you shake your device repeatedly until it comes back with something that really appeals to you.

Not only is the app highlighted by Apple useful and fun to use, but it's also available for free download via the iTunes App Store. Urbanspoon is only advertised for iPhone use, but, as history has shown, most iPhone apps are iPod touch-compatible as well, provided you run the necessary firmware.

Main features of Urbanspoon include the ability to use GPS to find a restaurant near you, filter by neighborhood, cuisine, or price, search and browse local restaurants, see a list of all nearby eateries, compare restaurant picks with your friends, ratings and reviews from newspapers, bloggers and fellow eaters, and more.

The app also received an update recently, adding news feed capabilities, showing what your friends are doing, but also restaurant news. New locations include Napa, Santa Cruz and Walnut Creek, while the app runs “leaner and faster” now, according to the makers. It is available in most North American cities, as well as in London, Sydney and Melbourne.

Since Apple thinks the world of Urbanspoon, maybe you should check out the App Store link below with your iPhone in hand. For the new iPhone ad, either see the YouTube video provided below, or use the second link to go to Apple's website, for more picture quality.
