An update targeting customers running Windows 7 on a new-generation MacBook Pro addresses issues with shut down, and localization, according to a technical document posted by Apple on its Support site.

A free download for all users of Apple’s Early 2011 MacBook Pros, Boot Camp 3.2 Update for MacBook Pro (early 2011) “addresses issues with shutdown, Japanese and Korean keyboards on early 2011 MacBook Pro,” Apple states.

Boot Camp is a utility included with Mac OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard that lets you run compatible versions of Microsoft Windows on an Intel-based Mac.

Version 3.2 was posted on Apple’s Downloads section on April 07, with a file size of 21.55 MB and four supported languages, including German, English, and French.

The requirements tab lists Windows 7 only, meaning said issues are being experienced solely by new-generation MacBook Pro owners running Microsoft’s latest public version of Windows.

Apple has recently updated the system requirements for installing Microsoft’s Windows 7 on MacBook Air (Late 2010) and MacBook Pro (Early 2011) systems.

The company noted in February that Boot Camp 3.0 supported 32 and 64 bit versions of Windows 7 Home Premium, Windows 7 Professional, or Windows 7 Ultimate.

With Boot Camp 3.0 users can now open and read files on Mac OS X volumes when booted into Windows, as well as copy photos, documents and other files from a Mac OS X volume into the Windows partition.

Since the 3.0 release, Boot Camp also supports advanced features on Apple Cinema displays, such as disabling the brightness controls, improved tap-to-click support, and a command line version of the Startup Disk Control Panel.
