“You are cordially invited to attend the Annual Meeting in person,” Apple tells investors

On February 23rd, Apple Inc. plans to hold its annual meeting of shareholders where the company will elect the Board of Directors, hold an advisory vote on executive compensation, and consider four new shareholder proposals.

A notice was issued this week by Apple announcing that “that the 2012 annual meeting of shareholders […] of Apple Inc. […] will be held on Thursday, February 23, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. Pacific Standard Time, in Building 4 of the Company’s principal executive offices.”

Only shareholders of record are entitled to receive notice of, to attend and to vote at the Annual Meeting.

“You are cordially invited to attend the Annual Meeting in person,” Apple tells investors.

The Mac maker asks shareholders to vote as promptly as possible, to ensure that their vote is counted at the Annual Meeting.
