After quietly updating iTunes Connect with a new Sales and Trends interface, Apple is now officially acknowledging these changes, offering developers a quick overview of the modifications via an email note.

“Dear [developer], We have released a new version of Sales and Trends on iTunes Connect that introduces interactive features to help you better understand your sales data,” Apple informs application sellers.

If you’re one of the thousands of developers who make a living selling iOS and Mac Apps, Apple is now offering you the ability to view sales within a selected time period, group your sales data by various criteria (such as territory), and filter sales by app name and transaction type, and by other values.

Users can now see their estimated proceeds in U.S. dollars, according to Apple. The company doesn’t make it immediately clear whether iTunes Connect will offer these forecasts in other currencies as well.

The Cupertino giant encourages developers to reach out and contact the iTunes team with any questions they might have regarding this change.
