Cupertino, California tech giant, Apple has polished up its Press Info section, not only revamping the PR room, where the company’s latest announcements can be found, but also the section where visitors can grab official Apple product imagery, as well as the Executive Profiles page featuring the company’s top brass.

Generally reserved for official product announcements, but also media alerts (like the quarterly earning calls), Apple’s Press Info site currently looks pretty much the way it did before, but only at first glance.

Once you hit on one of the announcements, though, regular users (like yours truly) will notice a few changes.

The press releases are now cleaner, and there’s a two-pane view which shows the text body on the left, and relevant imagery on the right.

In the case of the Final Cut Pro X announcement, Apple shows a bunch of Macs running the professional video editing software, including the Motion and Compressor companion applications.

Up above the press release title, the three main Press sections can be found.

Leaving the Press Releases area behind, users can access a section that is entirely dedicated to Product Images & Info.

Surely, we needn’t describe its contents, but we will say that it’s neatly structured so that you don’t have to click through any sub-categories. Only pictures of the key products representing Apple’s main business pillars are there.

Finally, there’s an all-new Executive Profiles page.

Both literally speaking, and from a figurative point of view, this section is reserved for the ‘heads’ at Apple.

Each Apple exec now gets a new picture, give or take a Senior Vice President of iOS Software (Scott Forstall).

Apple chose one of the most famous photos of Steve Jobs to use for their CEO. Until now, you could only find it in black and white. On Apple’s PR site, it’s available in color.

Strangely, Ron Johnson, Senior Vice President of Retail at Apple, is still featured. The man is known to have signed with JC Penney to become their CEO and whip those stores into shape.
