A statement from James Clancey of Interactive Innovative Solutions (IIS) reveals that Apple may have something against iOS apps that leverage the Amazon and Google streaming music services.

Clancey, the developer of the aMusic app that acts as a native Amazon Cloud Music player for iDevice owners, said in a statement, “There are some legal issues with the music industry. The aMusic [app] is down temporarily. It will be back. Unfortunately I do not have a specific date when it will be back.”

In the same statement, provided to evolver.fm, Clancey reveals that Apple has also been delaying an update to his gMusic application that Google Music Beta users can employ on their iPhones.

“I submitted it 2 weeks ago. Every other update I have submitted within the 2 weeks has been approved in under 8 hours. So not sure what the deal is,” he says.
