Required for Photo Stream, Mail, Contacts and Calendars and Bookmarks, the iCloud Control Panel for Windows is now at version 1.1. Apple fails to include a change log with the update, but the new version is most likely aimed at iOS 5.1.
To create an iCloud account, Windows PC users require an iPhone, iPad or iPod touch with iOS 5. Those who also own a Mac can enlist for iCloud via OS X Lion v10.7.2 or later.
iCloud Control Panel for Windows requires Windows Vista SP2 or Windows 7, Safari 5.1.1 or Internet Explorer 8 or later, Microsoft Outlook 2007 or 2010, and a broadband Internet connection.
