Apple has sent out an email to registered developers with a notice regarding newly released downloads, including the latest OS X Server for Mavericks, a new Mountain Lion beta, and an update to Windows Migration Assistant.

OS X Server Preview 7 for OS X Mavericks (Build 13S357e) is already covered here on Softpedia. Apple says, “This is a pre-release of OS X Server for a Mac running OS X Mavericks Developer Preview,” and refers testers to the seed note for installation instructions and additional details.

The same goes for OS X Mountain Lion 10.8.5 Build 12F36, which we reported on the other day.

“This is a pre-release update to OS X Mountain Lion 10.8 and includes a combo update, delta update, and seed note,” Apple reportedly tells developers.

However, the Windows Migration Assistant update is a new affair. Promoted to version 1.0.2.3, this pre-release build doesn’t seem to bring anything new to the table, but rather is made available for testing purposes, people familiar with the software note.

Windows Migration Assistant 1.0.2.3 comes with one “known issue,” developers say.

“If you are using an iCloud mail account on Windows, after migrating it may be necessary to sign out of the iCloud account on your Mac and sign in again in System Preferences > iCloud. If you encounter problems signing back in, restart your Mac and try again,” the seed note reportedly states.

Windows Migration Assistant 1.0.2.3 requires Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7, or Windows 8.

The assistant will launch automatically after it has been installed, while Windows 8 users need to install .NET 3.5 before using the software.
