Apple’s Cards application, which lets you create and mail beautifully crafted cards personalized with your own text and photos, has received a minor maintenance update that patches a handful of bugs, and adds a small but useful photo-swapping feature.

Cards is a free app developed and maintained by Apple with the sole purpose of allowing iDevice owners to design their own cards and order them for physical delivery. What you make on your iPhone gets imprinted on paper and mailed to your loved ones.

Cards 2.0.1 brings a handy feature that enables users to easily swap photos in cards containing multiple photos – much like a puzzle.

The update also has some healing powers, as it is said to fix an issue that caused previously mailed cards to display as drafts in Card History, as well as several bugs that caused the app to quit unexpectedly.

The app requires iOS 6.0 or later and works with iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad.
