14 DAY TRIAL // The company headquartered in Cupertino, California developing the Mac operating system has issued a new software update improving the performance of Apple Bluetooth devices when running Microsoft Windows XP and Windows Vista on a Mac using the Boot Camp utility.
“This update improves the performance of the Apple Bluetooth devices while running Microsoft Windows XP and Windows Vista on the the iMac (21.5-inch, Late 2009) and iMac (27-inch, Late 2009) computers using Boot Camp,” Apple reveals on a more detailed note. The company then proceeds to offer installation instructions for owners of the “affected” iMac (21.5-inch, Late 2009) and iMac (27-inch, Late 2009). Undoubtedly, the update further adds compatibility between Boot Camp, Windows and Apple’s Magic Mouse.
“Using Windows XP or Vista, download the update from the Apple website,” the first step goes. “When the download is complete, AppleBcUpdate.exe appears on the desktop,” Apple continues to stress. “Double-click on AppleBcInstaller.exe and follow the onscreen instructions to install the update. If your computer is not eligible for this update, you'll receive a ‘This update is not intended for this computer and will not be installed’ message when you start the update,” the Mac maker reveals.
“Follow the instructions in the Device Driver Installation wizard. When the update has finished installing, an installation wizard screen with the message ‘The drivers were successfully installed on this computer’ will appear,” the instructions end. Apple also advises users to follow a few steps to determine if the update has been already applied.
