In tandem with the release of Final Cut Pro X 10.0.3, Apple updated Motion, the software tool designed for video editors to customize Final Cut Pro titles, transitions, and effects.

According to the Mac App Store listing, Motion 5.0.2 improves overall stability and performance and includes a number of specific enhancements. Speed and responsiveness of text editing has been improved, and users now have the added ability to automatically throw in animation keyframes when recording is disabled.

There’s a new keyboard shortcut for re-positioning animation curves or paths, and users can now adjust the pan and scale of an image in a drop zone. Lastly, the Keyframe editor boasts an enhanced look for easier keyframe viewing and editing.

Apple recommends this update for all users of Motion 5.
