New versions of the Java runtime, Server Admin Tools, and the Windows Migration assistant are now available for OS X Lion users, Apple has announced.

Via three individual notes posted on the Support Downloads section of its website, Apple informs early Lion adopters that new downloads are ready for their computers.

The first is the missing Java runtime which Apple distributes separately. Java for OS X Lion is a hefty 62.53 MB download.

“This release installs Java SE 6 version 1.6.0_26. OS X Lion does not provide a Java runtime by default,” Apple states.

Apple had previously confirmed that Lion would ship without a pre-installed Java runtime, which would enable the OS to execute 100% pure Java apps.

OS X Lion also does away with Rosetta, which enables Intel hardware to run PowerPC applications. Apple, however, does not provide a solution to get PowerPC support back, once OSX Lion is installed over Snow Leopard.

Next up is Server Admin Tools 10.7. The package is aimed at Lion Server installations and includes additional applications, including Podcast Composer, Server Admin, Server Monitor, System Image Utility, Workgroup Manager, and Xgrid Admin.

The file size is 193.25 MB and it can only be applied to Mac OS X 10.7 Server.

Upon installation, the Migration Assistant launches automatically, facilitating seamless data migration.

Windows Migration Assistant for Lion is a 2.78 MB download and supports multiple languages, including Deutsch, English, Français, Español, Italiano, Nederlands, Dansk, Norsk Bokmål, Polski, Português, Português Brasileiro, Pусский, Suomi, Svensk, Chinese, Japanese and Korean.
