Creatives using Apple’s professional photo editing software, Aperture 3, have a new update to install. Version 3.5.1 addresses some issues with Temperature and Tint White Balance, as well as other problems.

Apple says Temperature and Tint White Balance now works correctly in Aperture 3.5.1, and any issues related to face detection overlays should be gone now. Also addressed in this update is an issue with metadata field entry when arrowing between photos.

Lastly, the new Aperture includes stability improvements, meaning the app will no longer hang and/or crash as often.

This update is said to be for OS X 10.9 Mavericks users, meaning you can’t install this version of Aperture on OS X Mountain Lion or OS X Lion.

Existing users can download Aperture 3.5.1 for free, while newcomers will need to shell out €69,99 / $79.99 for the software.
