Apple has pushed out two AirPort updates for iOS and OS X customers, attempting to fix an issue that prevented the wireless routers from displaying in AirPort Utility’s interface.

Available for both Mac users and iOS customers, the AirPort Utility update is designated as version 6.3.1 on OS X, and as version 1.3.1 on iOS.

Both updates resolve “an issue where AirPort base stations may not appear in AirPort Utility,” according to the documentation released by Apple.

On the Mac, AirPort Utility 6.3.1 is a 21.44MB download which requires either OS X 10.7.5 Lion or OS X 10.8.3 Mountain Lion. On iOS, AirPort Utility 1.3.1 weighs in at 5.3MB and requires an iPhone, iPod touch, or iPad running iOS 5.0 or later.
