With a day to go before iPad 2 becomes physically available, Apple has added fourteen new iPad videos to its official iPad website, showcasing the various capabilities of the tablet, including the new GarageBand and iMovie applications set to debut tomorrow as well.

Focusing on the stuff iPad 2 ships with, Apple is proud to introduce fans and newcomers alike to all the flagship features of an Apple tablet, including some that can be found on the original iPad, such as Mail, Safari, and iBooks.

However, tools like the new FaceTime application, and iMovie are reserved for the new tablet device.

In the FaceTime video guided tour, Apple features a family celebrating a birthday that they can all attend thanks to the built-in cameras of the iPad 2.

As fans should know, FaceTime allows video calls over WiFi and can show who is in front of the iPad, or what’s around them by switching video input to the back-facing camera.

iMovie, an application that doesn’t ship with the iPad 2 but is only supported by this Apple tablet, is also featured in one of the guided tours.

In it, Apple explains how easy it is not only to edit videos (complete with sound effects and themes), but also how fast and effortless it is to share the creations on various social networks.

Fourteen in total, the iPad guided tours cover FaceTime, Mail, Safari, iBooks, Videos, Photos, Find My iPad, iPod, iTunes, App Store, Maps, AirPlay, GarageBand, and iMovie, so get a bowl of popcorn and make yourself comfortable, if you’re going to watch them all.

iPad 2 is launching in the U.S. tomorrow, March 11th, and in dozens of other territories on March 25th, with more countries to follow thereafter.

The gadget starts at $499 for the base 16GB model with WiFi capabilities only, and goes up to $829 for the high-end 64GB version with WiFi+3G networking.
