German and Swiss customers to get professional opinion right on the spot

A Reuters report, recently updated and corrected, says that Apple is hiring for the grand opening of several Apple retail stores in Germany and Switzerland. No doubt, the respective territories are packed full with people interested in purchasing Apple products, who, until now, could only order the consumer electronics, and seek advice via specialized websites, blogs and forums.

Corrections to the original report were made upon the false mentioning of Apple seeking staff for opening a store in Ireland, as well (besides the previously mentioned European countries). Ireland isn't, in fact, on the list regarding new Apple stores. The Bavarian city of Munich (Germany), as well as Swiss cities, Geneva and Zurich, are however on the list for new Apple retail stores.

"Apple is recruiting staff for new retail stores in Germany and Switzerland, according to a job opportunities link on its website," says the updated Reuters report. "On the page the company lists a number of stores, which include the Bavarian city of Munich in Germany as well as Swiss cities Geneva and Zurich. It does not have any retail stores in those countries so far."

Apple was contacted immediately for a comment, yet wasn't available to provide one, so official word and further details on this move are still expected. According to the same source, Apple operates such stores in Italy and Britain, as far as Europe goes.

Even though potential buyers can find everything they need to know about a product right on Apple's official website, an Apple retail store is by far the best thing you could ask for as a fan of Apple products who... let's say has a bit of a problem with his/her newly acquired MacBook Air or iPod touch.

Although Apple's gadgets are "innovative, approachable, and designed like no place else," as the Cupertino folks themselves describe them, technical issues sometimes occur and what place best to go and seek a straight answer if not the exact same retail store (and possibly even the same Apple employee) you got it from.
