Due to incompatibility issues

Just in case you did not know it, we live in an Apple-centric world. And Apple has issued a piece of advice to users of its products, recommending a waiting period before the upgrade to Windows Vista. The issue was brought upon by incomparability issues that plague the initial period of Vista's commercial availability. And if there's one thing that Microsoft cannot afford with Windows Vista is that the operating system proves to be incompatible with a variety of products that worked seamlessly with Windows XP.

For Apple, the issue is related to the functionality of iTunes 7.0.2 on Windows Vista, or rather the lack of functionality. But fear not, Apple has also presented the solution: "Apple recommends, however, that customers wait to upgrade Windows until after the next release of iTunes which will be available in the next few weeks." What's Windows Vista to Apple but another iTunes add-on?

However, the compatibility issues reported by users of iTunes 7.0.2 are by no means an isolated incident. Microsoft itself recently updated the Zune digital media player in order to add support for Vista. Users of NVidia graphic cards have reported that some of the products are also incompatible with Vista, despite the fact that they acquired Windows Vista ready versions.

Along with Apple, Samsung Electronics Co. has also announced that some of its mp3 players are not compatible with Windows Vista. The H10 from ReignCom is in a similar situation. Cowon and iRiver also informed that their products have support problems on Vista. According to Microsoft, Windows Vista has shipped with no less than 30,000 drivers, but this Wow does not seem to be sufficient, and it will undoubtedly hurt the consumer perception of the operating system.
