Talk about meeting demand! Apple is reportedly planning to stock London retail stores with additional hardware (even with language-specific keyboards) for the hundreds of thousands of people arriving in England’s capital city for the 2012 Olympics.

A high-level Apple retail employee in London tells TUAW’s Michael Grothaus that "London is going to be overrun by an onslaught of journalists when the games begin. We want to be prepared should they need help with their equipment during the time they are here."

Journalists aside, there are an expected 325,000 daily visitors to London for the games, and Apple reportedly wants to be fully prepared to take care of any potential buyers. The company is going to great lengths to do so, as it is considering to carry stock of MacBook laptops with American, Asian, and other international keyboards.
