Apple has rolled out a couple of new printer drivers for Mac users, targeting both Snow Leopard and Lion systems. The downloads are free, and hefty, as usual.

Brother Printer Drivers 2.8
installs the latest Brother printing and scanning software for OS X Lion and Mac OS vX 10.6, according to Cupertino. Targeted operating systems are Mac OS X 10.6.1 or later and OS X Lion and the download comes in at 149.61 MB.

As you’d expect, the Lexmark Printer Driver update (v. 2.7) for its part includes the latest Lexmark printing and scanning software for the two OS X versions (Lion and Snow Leopard). Here, users will be dealing with an even larger 182.93 MB download.

Supported Languages include Deutsch, English, Français, Español, Italiano, Nederlands, Dansk, Norsk Bokmål, Polski, Português, Português Brasileiro, Pусский, Suomi, Svensk, Chinese, Japanese and Korean.
