One known issue relates to 'marketing text'

As this week is coming to an end, Apple has seeded yet another test build of Mac OS X 10.6.4, the upcoming fourth incremental update to its Snow Leopard operating system. The build includes numerous fixes and just one known issue, according to World of Apple, which also provides the actual seed notes.

Weighing in at 581.3MB in delta form, Mac OS X 10.6.4 Build 10F50 asks select Apple devs to focus on a small number of areas, similar to previously seeded builds, including Graphics Drivers, USB, Voice Over and VPN. The single known issue documented by Apple relates to “marketing text”, the seed notes reveal. The text is not formatted correctly, reads the documentation. Included in this update:

- Resolve an issue that causes the keyboard or trackpad to become unresponsive - Resolve an issue that may prevent some Adobe Creative Suite 3 applications from opening - Address issues copying, renaming, or deleting files on SMB file servers - Improve reliability of VPN connections - Resolve a playback issue in DVD Player when using Good Quality deinterlacing - Resolve an issue editing photos with iPhoto or Aperture in full screen view - Improve VoiceOver compatibility with iMovie and GarageBand - Improve compatibility with some braille displays

Last month, a new beta version of Mac OS X 10.6.4 was reportedly handed to select Apple developers, bringing with it an array of patches and compatibility fixes. The seed notes revealed one known issue affecting a font within Snow Leopard. The list of focus areas was short, and almost identical to that of previous builds.
