I guess the three days miracles are out; now they barely last for one...

The test drive for Mac mini promotion is history! Nobody seems to know why. And I suggest you don't bang your head against the walls over this one, because it's pretty unlikely for all of us to find out why and where this whole thing started in the first place. Mac mini is still cool, but no longer 30 days free, according to iPodNirvana.

The source reported that they have just received an e-mail from LinkShare, the people who handle Apple's affiliate program, canceling the Test Drive promotion, in less than 24 hours after the launch of the historical promotion.

Here's the infamous e-mail that broke so many Apple fan hearts:

"As a follow-up to an email we sent you this morning, please note that the Mac mini Test Drive promotion is no longer offered at the Apple Store. We have dynamically updated the banners and landing pages for this promotion, so if you are featuring this promotion on your site, they will automatically update to another promotion. Please be sure to update your Mac mini Test Drive text links. The rest of the promotions featured in today's email are still live.

We apologize for the inconvenience.

Thank you, Apple Store Affiliate Program"

Now, I don't know what to say about that, but seems to me that you just can't call yourself iPodNirvana and lie about Apple, so I tend to believe them.
