Recently, Apple unveiled that around 93 percent of all Apple Store customers were using devices running under iOS 6, and the company has also provided a chart to those interested in the matter.

The chart, similar in a way to that offered by Google to its Android developers, shows that, while iOS 6 is loaded on 93 percent of handsets, iOS 5 is still present on 6 percent of devices, while older platform releases are loaded on only 1 percent of them.

The company also notes on its developer website that the data was measured by the App Store during a 14-day period ending June 3, 2013.

Although application developers have already started to see an increase in the use of iOS 7, the yet unreleased platform version from Apple, this OS version is nowhere to be seen in the official chart.
