Apple is building a new, multi-billion-dollar campus in Cupertino, California, which will include a jaw-dropping building shaped like a spaceship. The company has submitted new renderings and plans for the project.

Further attempting to create as much landscaping area as possible around the circular-shaped building, Apple has increased the parking areas in capacity from 9,000 to 9,240 (in the main lot), and from 1,500 to 1,740 in a second location.

Apple wants some super duper bike lanes called “buffered bike lanes,” and even bike boxes. The company has also submitted new imagery (renderings) to put its vision into perspective.

The PDF states, “Although there will be an incremental increase in gross office and research and development floor area of approximately 20%, the efficient use of the main site will result in almost tripling the landscaped area.”

“Underground and structured parking will replace 9,220 surface parking spaces – creating almost three times more open space,” it adds.
