Apple is using Twitter to promote Condé Nast’s latest addition to the iPad, SELF Magazine, a freely downloadable app that lets you pay-per-issue, or subscribe for a whole year. Condé Nast is one of the world's largest magazine publishing companies.

“Download @SELFmagazine's free iPad app. Buy a single issue or subscribe for a year,” reads Apple’s enticing tweet.

Those who download the app and subscribe to the tablet edition now get the same great print magazine plus app-only exclusive workout, diet, beauty and style features, said Condé Nast Digital, the developers.

For those who are already print subscribers, the iPad issue is included for free, meaning they can just download the app on their iPad, enter their credentials, and start reading away. This is just for U.S. and Canada, though.

“Simply download the app to begin your subscription activation. If you don’t yet subscribe, single issues are also available for purchase. Either way, you’ll snag all this cool app-only June tablet content,” reads the official description.

SELF Magazine for iPad comes with a subscribers’ automatic-renewal feature. It perpetuates the subscription, which means your credit card will automatically be charged monthly as long as you remain a subscriber.

The same goes for annual subscribers. All subscribers will see their credit charged for another subscription period unless they change their subscription preferences.
