14 DAY TRIAL // Apple has posted a new job opening titled “iOS Motion Systems Engineer” which asks for a motivated individual with 3-5 years of experience in an algorithm design and integration role for “motion-aware iOS applications.”
The job opening is for Apple’s Santa Clara Valley offices in California, and proposes to “Shape the next generation of motion-aware iOS applications by working on bleeding-edge solutions for the Motion and Location Technologies team.”
The new recruit requires at least three years of experience in an algorithm design and integration role to work with “the team which designs, implements, and powers the location services and motion sensors available on the world's fastest-growing mobile development platform.”
Other key qualifications include experience with signal processing, state-estimation, sensor-fusion algorithms, and system characterization, as well as knowledge of MATLAB.
