Almost a dozen sub-$1,000 systems up for grabs on Apple’s online store

It’s been quite a while since Apple last filled the Special Deals area with this many options on refurbished computers. There’s a total of 10 Macs priced under $1,000 that may pique your interest if you’re looking for a deal. Head over below for the highlights.

The cheapest system featured today is a refurbished Mac mini from 2011 (released in July), which boasts a 2.5 Ghz processor (dual-core Intel Core i5), 4GB of memory, a 500GB hard (spinning platter) drive, a Thunderbolt port with support for up to 2560-by-1600 resolution, an HDMI port with support for up to 1920-by-1200 resolution, and AMD Radeon HD 6630M graphics - $699.00 ($100.00 off).

Up next is a refurbished MacBook Air 1.4 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo originally shipped in October 2010 with an 11.6-inch LED-backlit glossy widescreen display, 4GB memory, 64GB flash storage, NVIDIA GeForce 320M graphics, and FaceTime camera - $799.00.

Priced identically, but featuring only 2GB of RAM and double the flash storage (128GB), another refurbished MacBook Air 1.4 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo will save its lucky buyer some $300.

A refurbished MacBook Air 1.6GHz dual-core Intel Core i5 from 2011 with the 11-inch screen, 2GB memory, 64GB flash storage, Thunderbolt, FaceTime cam, and Intel HD Graphics 3000 goes for $849.00.

A refurbished Mac mini with Lion Server 2.0GHz quad-core Intel Core i7 originally released in July 2011 with  4GB memory and dual 500GB hard drives sells for $849.00 also.

An older MacBook Air (1.86 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo), originally released in October 2010 featuring a 13.3-inch LED-backlit glossy widescreen display, 2GB memory, 128GB flash storage, NVIDIA GeForce 320M graphics, and FaceTime camera goes for $899.00 (or $300 off). The 11-inch version with double the memory and the storage can be yours for $929.

Lastly, a refurbished iMac (2.5GHz Quad-Core Intel Core i5) originally released in May 2011 and featuring a 21.5-inch LED-backlit glossy widescreen display sells for $999.00 ($200 off) and offers 4GB memory, a 500GB hard drive, the 8x SuperDrive (DVD±R DL/DVD±RW/CD-RW), AMD Radeon HD 6750M graphics with 512MB memory, and the built-in FaceTime HD camera.
