Apple has announced the WWDC '09 dates via its Developers Connection web site, promising to offer in-depth technical information and hands-on with iPhone OS and Mac OS X technologies. 1000 Apple engineers will be hosting these events beginning June 8 and ending June 12.

In what is probably the most highly anticipated event of its kind, this year's WWDC may draw more interest than previous editions, with Apple's new iPhone OS 3.0 on the scene, as well as the unveiling of a more complete Mac OS X 10.6, aka Snow Leopard.

“The Apple Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) is the premier technical event for developers and IT professionals innovating with Apple platforms,” says the Mac maker. “Over 1,000 Apple engineers will be at Moscone West to present the latest Apple technologies and provide you with code-level guidance. You’ll learn how to harness the power of iPhone OS, Mac OS X Snow Leopard, and Mac OS X Server Snow Leopard in the most efficient and sophisticated way possible - saving you time and accelerating your development. Bring your MacBook and your imagination, and prepare to make your ideas happen,” the post reads.

“At the heart of the WWDC experience are the technical sessions presented by Apple engineers,” Apple adds. “Choose from a wide range of topics on developing, deploying, and integrating iPhone OS and Mac OS X technologies. Sessions cover introductory and advanced concepts so you can gain a solid foundation if you are new to iPhone and Mac development, or dive deep if you are already familiar with Apple technologies.”

Early registration is $1,295 until April 24, after which entrance will be up $300. The WWDC '09 Student Scholarship offers ADC Student Members and student Team Members in the iPhone Developer University Program the opportunity to get a free pass to attend WWDC. Those receiving the scholarship will have full access to the conference including the range of in-depth technical sessions, access to Apple engineers at the hands-on labs, and the opportunity to meet hiring managers at the Student Career Fair.
