Apple Posts Over 1GB of Printing and Scanning Drivers

Apple’s Support Downloads section is stuffed to the rafters with new printer drivers for OS X, including software for Canon, Epson, Lexmark, Infotec, and other printing and scanning machines.

All downloads include the latest printing and scanning software for OS X Lion and Mac OS X 10.6 (Snow Leopard) for hardware released by the likes of Canon, Epson, Lexmark, Infotec, Gestetner, Ricoh, Savin, Lenier, InfoPrint, and NRG.

Considering that some packages are a whopping 991.83 MB in size, users will need to verify which printer model they have before downloading, as OS X will not decline the installation of any unsupported drivers. All 10 printer drivers are immediately available as free downloads below:
