Job opportunities from Apple

ifoAppleStore, the source dealing exclusively with news and information about Apple’s retail stores, has posted a piece signaling that the Mac maker has a new job page spotlighting retail philosophy. The pages, which promote job opportunities in a usual Apple manner, now include a focus on retail employee models, displaying the corresponding color-coded T-shirt for each position in a typical Apple store.

“Be the face of Apple—help people learn about, shop for, and get the most out of their Apple products,” Apple says on the designated web page. “That means we're not just looking for people with retail experience. Creative pros, technical experts, and business consultants have a place here, too,” the company explains. “The Apple Retail Store is the one place where people can find everything Apple, and the experts on everything Apple. You can lead customers on individual tours. Take them on product test-drives. Or help them map out the right technology plan for their businesses. This isn't shopping as we know it,” the Mac maker adds.

Also helpful for those who start browsing the new section looking for a job is that each position has a detailed description, along with stores in need of that someone. For example, Apple currently has Concierge openings at its Stonebriar Centre store in Frisco, TX, Main Place in Naperville, IL, or Reston TC in Reston, VA.

“Whether you're leading a free workshop, teaching a One to One personal training session, or giving expert technical advice at the Genius Bar, there's one thing you'll definitely see—people's faces light up when you show the something they never knew they could do. You'll get used to it, but you'll never get tired of it,” Apple concludes, trying to entice those who visit its web site in search for a job at the Apple retail store.

However, the entire “jobs” section also describes Apple’s corporate environment, and how you can get a job in this area. Legal, Human Resources, Engineering and Finance are just some of the fields you can apply in.

Along with updating this section of its web site, the company also confirmed a total of 200 Apple retail stores worldwide, with plans to open more. There’s also a way to work for Apple from home, and you can see how here.
