Apple has opened a new section of photography apps on iTunes promoting some of the best photo/video tools available for iOS, including those with attractive $0.99 / €0.89 prices.

Dubbed “Amazing Photo + Video Apps. Limited-Time Prices,” the new section is 14 apps strong and lists well-known titles, like Adobe’s Photoshop Touch, as well as lesser known photography apps like LetterGlow, Diptic Video, and Facetune.

Facetune, for example, is a powerful portrait & selfie photo editor. It gets rid of pimples and such for the perfect avatar shot, but also for day-to-day portrait images.

Horizon is also pretty darn awesome. Currently discounted by 50%, it lets you record horizontal videos no matter how you hold your device, which eliminates a big hassle for some users. You can also add filters, shoot with the back or front camera, and share your works with the world.

Other cheap photography apps listed by Apple in the new section include Brushstroke, Camera Noir, Mextures, Spark Camera, Waterlogue, Rhonna Designs, and Fragment. Be sure to check them all out on the App Store and make your pick soon, as some of these low prices will go away without warning.

To access the “Amazing Photo + Video Apps” section, simply visit the iTunes App Store and wait for the ad banner to reel into position, then click it.
