14 DAY TRIAL // Apple has officially revealed the ten free apps that celebrate the App Store’s 5-year anniversary, including five of the best games and five of the best apps for iOS.
The announcement is made directly on iTunes, where Apple states, “From the 500 apps available at launch in 2008 to more than 900,000 at your fingertips today, it’s been a remarkably prolific five years for the App Store.”
The iPhone maker is giving all iDevice owners “five landmark games and five groundbreaking apps for a limited time.” The titles are listed below, each with a handy download link for our faithful readers.
The “5 Years of the App Store” section up on iTunes is comprised of two tabs, one listing the apps in question, the other breaking down the milestones achieved by the digital distribution venue from 2008 to this day.
