Appeal judges are rather suspicious of Apple's initial win

We passed on the news about Samsung apparently getting the Australian appeal judges to sympathize with its claims, but we didn't specifically say what Apple thought about it.

Then again, it doesn't take a genius to assume the Cupertino company's lawyers defended the original ruling that imposed the ban of the Galaxy Tab 10.1, saying that her honor did, in fact, look closely at the case instead of making fundamental errors as Samsung claimed.

“It was not a case of her honor ticking boxes but rather engaging in a careful and detailed review,” Apple's lawyer said.

Nevertheless, the new judges are not very convinced, since they, or one of them at least, view Apple as holding a sort of monopoly and that the case might very well not have been closely considered before the injunction was issued.
